GASTROENTEROLOGY
Mesa General Hospital offers a broad spectrum of GI services, all performed by Board-Certified Gastroenterologist. Services include colonoscopy, EGD, PEG Tube, ERCP, and other general GI testing.

 

COMPREHENSIVE IMAGING SERVICES
Including MRI, CT-SCAN, echocardiography, endoscopy, nuclear medicine, mammography, bone densitometry, and ultrasound.

 

PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPIES
The Physical Therapy Department provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Patients include accident victims and individuals with disabling conditions such as low-back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries, and cerebral palsy.

The Occupational Therapy Department helps people improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments, and to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. Occupational therapists help clients not only to improve their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also to compensate for permanent loss of function.

The Speech Therapy Department treats and helps to prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders. Speech-language pathologists work with people who cannot produce speech sounds, or cannot produce them clearly; those with speech rhythm and fluency problems, such as stuttering; people with voice disorders, such as inappropriate pitch or harsh voice; those with problems understanding and producing language; those who wish to improve their communication skills by modifying an accent; and those with cognitive communication impairments, such as attention, memory, and problem solving disorders. They also work with people who have swallowing difficulties.

 

WOUND CARE
